Sky Lite or Sat Lite Ensured

This appears to be a scam. The company will cold call you and try to sell an insurance package to cover your Sky satelite and digi box. They will let you think Sky backs them. They will take your card and bank details, your money and leg it. They constantly change phone numbers and their e-mail address is no good. If legit, which I sincerely doubt, it is the worst run company ever. They have been reported to TPS, Fraud Squad , Police and BT by many people. BEWARE.

I required an engineer to attend my property last week on behalf of Satlite, I rang on the 28th the gentleman I spoke to tried to assist me with a re-boot of my satellite box but unfortunately this did not work. However an engineer was at my property the following day, they check the box and advised that the hard drive was finished, so they replaced the box which was in excellent condition and I’ve had no issues since.

Irene, I wish to disagree with you. There is no suggestion this company is backed by Sky. The papers do say they are independent. They have engineers posted around mainland UK. I am happy to say I had an engineer booked in to arrive on the 25th of November as I was permanently getting a message saying No Satellite Signal was being received. The engineer did arrive on the said day. The problem was resolved on the same day and I am glad that I have taken an account with a company that can help so efficiently.

Gazza, I am sorry but they did represent themselves as backed by Sky on the telephone call they made. They only sent paperwork about 2 months after the intitial direct debit, well beyond the legal requirement. They consistently changed phone numbers, sometimes daily and most calls went to an answering service that cut out. The email address was worse than useless.They were reported by many unhappy customers.

My husband eventually managed to contact them and get a refund, many others were not so lucky. I stand by my initial staement that if indeed they are legitimate they are the worst run company ever in my experience.

I am surprised that both you and Robert have had positive dealings with them, long may that continue and hopefully you will get all the service you paid for.

 I will be staying with Sky.
