Roads to be closed as Loudoun Road is resurfaced

  • The length of Mure Place to be closed is shown in pink. The alternative route via the remainder of Mure Place, Irvine Road and McLeod Street is shown in dots.
  • The length of Queens Crescent to be closed is shown in pink. The alternative route via the remainder of Queens Crescent and Shields Road is shown in dots.

Resurfacing work on the A71 Loudoun Road is scheduled to begin today and motorists are warned to expect delays.

Two nearby streets are also to be closed to allow the work to go ahead.

Mure Place and Queens Crescent will be closed for part of their lengths to all vehicles from today until Friday.

You can see the sections which will be closed shown as pink hatching on the accompanying maps, with alternative routes shown as dots.
