Newmilns Water Improvement.

Scottish Water will embark on an £850,000project to improve water supplies to Newmilns and Darvel.

30 miles of water main pipework will be upgraded to provide a better quality of drinking water.

The A71 may require periods of traffic control and possible isolation of water supplies, this,of course,will be kept to a minimum.

Scottish Water has invested greatly in improving supplies across Scotland having invested £162m since 2006 in Ayrshire.
