The former Bandstand,Nelson Street, Newmilns

  • Former Newmilns Bandstand site.

The attached photograph shows all that remains of the former Newmilns Bandstand, it was erected in 1900, it proved unpopular due to its somewhat exposed position, after suffering vandalism it was removed in the 1940's - possibly its scrap railings etc. contributing to the War effort.
