Sunday Services

  • 10-11 am Weekly Communion Service
  • 11.30 am-12.15 Family Service (includes Good News Club for kids)
  • 4-5 pm  Bible Study and teaching

Everyone welcome!

As part of the community of Newmilns for over 100 years, the Christians who meet in Townhead Church are keen to reach out to those who live around us, to share the good news from the Bible by preaching, teaching and living lives that show the love of Jesus.

We have a variety of activities throughout the week starting on Sundays when we meet at 10am for our weekly Communion service. After a coffee break we have our Family service at 11.30am which includes a time for children at the Good News Club. From 4pm to 5pm we meet for Bible study and teaching.

On Monday mornings at 10.30am there is an enthusiastic parent and toddlers' group, and in the evening there is our young people's prayer group from 8-9pm.

Tuesday night is the youth club night at 7.30-9pm, for those at secondary school. On Thursday night we meet for Bible focus and prayer at 7.30pm.

Other occasional events include: "Praise in the Valley" musical evenings, and "Quiz and Curry" nights for men. The annual summer camp is a highlight for the young people.
