Weight Management Group: The Practice Nurses are pleased to say group meetings have been very
successful, those who have continued to attend are doing well. The next session will be starting mid May.
Keep Well Checks: Ayrshire and Arran are still encouraging patients who are invited to attend should
do so. You will be contacted by telephone or by post. Please contact the Surgery if you cannot attend
or the appointment is not convenient.
Please Note: All General Practices in Ayrshire are moving to a new computer clinical system. This
changeover will take place at the beginning of June. Work will be carried out on the computer system,
this may cause minor disruption.During May and early June there will be a period when patients will
be unable to book appointments ahead of time,and will only be able to book them on the day. Dates
will be confirmed when avaliable.We apologise for any inconvenience caused.

for other patients.....during the month of February to April 404 patients failed to attend GP
appointments,during the same period 243 did not fulfil their appointment with a Practice Nurse,lets
get this figure DOWN.
